DRESS GUIDELINES
“…man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” I Samuel 16:7 Outward appearance can, and in many cases, does reflect our inward heart condition. Modesty is the guiding principle to which we adhere. If each individual holds to this, the atmosphere will be one that protects our brothers and sisters from harm, encourages righteous living, gives a positive testimony to others, and displays genuine love.
Please show deference by dressing modestly. There are two ditches on each side of the road; one is the ditch of legalism and the other is license. Both ditches are dangerous! Let’s seek to stay on the road and out of the ditches! We realize that people have different standards of dress and we do not seek to be legalistic or give license to sin. If we will seek to be considerate of others, we should have no problems.
