WIT ALIVE Singles Conference
“Whatever It Takes!” Singles Conference promises to be a life-changing, world-altering weekend! We will dig deep into our hearts and souls to expose all the hidden lies and strongholds that have kept us from becoming the person God has created us to be. The goal of this conference is to help you identify the areas of your life that need God’s wisdom and understanding applied to them. Not only will it prepare you for marriage, but it will prepare you for Life! You, by the grace of God, will never be the same!
Conference topics include:
- Love God, Live Life!
- Openness and brokenness
- Exposing lies that shape your thinking
- So, who is your “real” enemy?
- How to throw your bags overboard!
- Hanging on when you should be letting go!
- Moral purity in an immoral world
- How do you find Mr. or Mrs. Right when everything is wrong?
- …and much more!
Attendees must be 17 years of age or older.
Paul and Jenny:
Paul and Jenny have had the joy of speaking to thousands of young people across America. They have watched as many of these same young people find “Mr.” or “Miss Perfect”, but are soon sitting before them in tears, disbelief, and hurt. As the Speeds began to counsel these young couples, they thought of how much heartache and damage could have been avoided if only these couples had learned certain truths BEFORE they married and not after. Thus, the idea of “WIT for Singles” was born!
Several months ago, many of the WIT Alive alumni had gathered for a weekend of bible study, fellowship, and fun. At the end of the weekend, a few of us went to a nearby cabin to see Jenny Speed as she finished one of her Hope weekends. While we were there visiting, she told us that regardless of what might happen to her, she wanted WIT Alive to continue. So with that blessing, we are going to do exactly that, WIT Alive is happening August 2-5, 2019 in Asheville, NC.
Rey and Jane Alvarenga have graciously agreed to be the speakers for the weekend, and we are thrilled to have them! They have previously run WIT Alive conferences in Mexico and have served on numerous WIT marriage, singles, Hope and Freedom weekends. We are so grateful to have them on board.
Now we need help getting the word out! To make this weekend successful, we need alumni to attend and to invite their friends. So please, share the event with your friends, family, and anyone else that could be blessed by this weekend. If you have any questions, please contact me and I will be sure to answer.
God has used this ministry and conference to impact countless lives, and despite the unfortunate circumstances, the WIT Alive alumni plan to make this yearly conference happen as long as God allows.
“We entered marriage with the wrong ideas about God, and each other, and with enough “baggage” to fill a small plane. After fifteen years of marriage, guilt, shame, depression, hypocrisy, moral failure, selfishness, and pride had exposed our poor foundations. God in His mercy stepped in and placed us head first on a collision course with Himself and the truth of His Gospel. God used Whatever It Takes Ministries to give us the tools to live life pursuing His heart. The more healing and restoration we received the more He also compelled us to share with others the life-changing lessons that brought us to repentance, humility, integrity, and freedom. We have had the opportunity to serve others through Whatever It Takes Ministries for the past thirteen years and it has truly been amazing to witness the effectiveness and power of God’s Word to restore and set us and others free. We have also had the opportunity to share the WIT Alive Conference with the young people of México for the past six years. We have seen lives transformed and hearts healed there as well. God is faithful to His Word and His people. It’s a great joy to see Him at work. We can’t wait to see Him and experience His love and healing along side all of you. Open, Broken, Free!”
Past attendees say…
“I came here blaming so many people for my anger and bitterness and now realize my need for personal responsibility. I have realized that the very people I have blamed are the ones I need to ask forgiveness from.”
“I was blown away by the honesty! I expected to meet all these “perfect” people who were holier than thou and was surprised to see people being so real and transparent.”
“I have learned this week that I must be 100% open and broken to have victory. WIT has changed my life forever! You guys rock!”
